Today i will talk about the horrible flight ever. Do not fly with Pakistan International Airline if it was not the last choise you could have. I've learn it by myself.

It happened last week on 22 April. I supposted to fly from Oslo - Islamabad (via Copenhagen) then Islamabad - Bangkok. But things was not smooth and easy like i should be. Start with...I took flight PK772, departure 1300 on April 22 from Oslo and arrive Islamabad at 0200 on April 23. It stop at Copenhagen for 2 hours. All the passenger sit and wait inside airplane all the time nothing to do. At Islamabad...I've beed here before (13 December on the way from BKK-Oslo) so i know where i have to go in order to wait for the next flight (transit). At Islamabad International Airport they don't have any facility for customer....no waiting area in the terminal. The only place you can sit and relax is in the lounge after you check-in (Actually i really don't want to called it lounge. It is the place that have uncomfortable chairs and 2 small snacks shops which is close.) So the place where people who have transit flight wait is the same room as for left the laggage. I am a human being not a luggage!!! When I get in that room I give them my ticket...normally PIA staff will give passenger a coupon for a snack or breakfast up to what time you arrive. But this time when he saw my ticket...he did nothing!! I got angry for the first time....I always protect my right. I was the first one in the room. He should survice me first. After awhile he tried to fix it for me....but seem like he had a problem. He told me that my flight tomorrow at 9 am had been cancelled!!! My agancy didn't inform me about that before I fly here. That's impossible because the staff at Oslo airport already load my luggage to that flight number....so it should excist. He said the earliest flight from Pakistan to Bkk from PIA is on April 25. That's mean i have to stay there for 2 nights. No way!!!! I will not accept that option. I rather live with Steffen for 2 more days than stay in uncivilization country for 2 nights. I do comfirm they very strongly that I only choise that i would except is a fligh back home in 24 hours. So they contact many people try to figure out the best solution for me. I went to reservation office and i asked for all the flight from Pakistan to Bangkok, the computer showed the soonest flight is Thai airway at 2350 from Lahore to Bangkok. That's mean i have to take domistic flight to Lahore at 8 am. and wait there for 16 hours. They provided me a hotel room in Lahore...because i don't want to sleep at the airport at least it better than stay in luggage room for sure.

Another program came so fast. When i check-in my luggage to Lahore PIA staff (others one) asked me for airport tax 150 Rupee. But I resist to pay it.... I asked if i could talk to the same staff the one who reprint my ticket for me. Finally I don't have to pay for it.

8 O'clock...time that the plane should take off but it delay for 1 hour. I really don't understand why. All the passengers already loaded. We have to stay in side a small and old airplane with no air for 1 hour. I feel like i can't breath. If they stay longer than that only for 15 mins i'm sure that i will do something again.

9 O'clock the plane take off...almost 10 reach Lahore. One of the PIA staff come to me and told me that he got a note from Islamabad to provide me a hotel and food during the period that i have to wait here.

I took a nap only for 2 hours then I can't sleep anymore. I got worry that Steffen and my parents will worry about me that i didn't arrive in time. So i asked the receiptionist if they do have internet around there. He said NO....but he's good guy he gave me his mobile phone to send sms to my parents and to my lovely boyfriend too. hehe .

I was fully awake...i guess from 1. miss him too much 2. it's too hot there 3. feel not safe to sleep alone in the hotel room. So i design to go down stair sit in the lobby talk to receiptionist, take some picture and read some newspaper.

As they don't have internet for customer at the hotel, so i leave hotel for the airport earlier than i should leave. I had dinner before too....because they don't have it at airport. Of course free meal!!

When i reach the airport Pakistanien custom officer check my luggage and my back pack. They search every pocket that it have VERY rude too. I saw they didn't check one guy, so i asked what is your rule to choose which luggage you will check???....he can't answer me. Damn country...i've been to develop country they never do this to me. The check-in counter are not open yet. Wait for 30 mins more. Then....another problem about airport tax again. This time 700 Rupee (88 NOK = 12 USD) I refused to pay it again, but this time that guy not with me. So i have a long argue with PIA staff for more than half and hour. I really really pissed. They reprint my ticket and they didn't put a code for and airport tax for me!!. I do have money to pay but my right again that can't let them do that. I'm sure if Steffen with me he will pay for it with no complain at all (late time we pay for SAS hotel parking lot for 1 night 250 NOK!!!) The problem seem to be never ending so i design to pay after i make sure that i have enough 88 NOK in coin. I don't want to pay with 500 bill they will change me in Rupee....i don't want their money. Now...again they said they can't except coin!!! not i really really pisses...i can't stand it anymore. I asked if coin is not money??? Finally one of PIA staff said he will take care of it i don't have to pay. I really don't care who he is. And i don't think i owe him either. It wasn't my fault!!

After i enter the check-in process i looking for internet cafe. Can't believe they don't have it. Don't have even wireless for laptop to use. 3 hours do nothing. I turned on my CD player out loud hope it make me calm.

After the flight take off....Thai airway...better airline, better quality. Feel like i'm home now.
