22//05 Monday...sign contact with Adecco...but work for Microsoft. Last 2 days I've been shopping with friends. I need proper shirt and pants for workday. 20th went to Pratunam with A2. Got 3 pants only 540 Baht and 1 t-shirt for 100 Baht. It not a brand name but I can throw it whenever I get bored...no regret!! I took BTS sky train and got off at Plean-chit. Wrong station hahaha used to it...so...I stop took a picture of All Season Place. Where I'm gonna work next month 34th floor. (same place as Conrad Hotel)
Caught BTS again 1 more station to go...Chit-Lom is where I have to get off. Then a little walk about 1,5 km you will reach an intersection called Pratunam. The highest building in Thailand located there - Baiyoke II Tower. 83 floor have nice restaurent on the roof!!!
Hungry after shopping, so we looked for something to eat. Fresh bake bakery is very popular in Bangkok now. Start with Rotiboy, you have to be in line more than 20 mins to buy one of those bakery. Then the small vendor copy the idea and create their own brand. This one call Mr. Bun 10 Baht each. Have 2 favor coconut and coffee.
We got all we need around 6. Then we decided to watch a movie (again) The Da Vinci Code. I read the book it really good book, but the movie is not that good. It cut many detail have only most excited part of the book in the movie. Yeah...I know they shouldn't make movie too long (almost 2 and a half hour). I really want to watch that movie at Pawalai Paragon but the seat were full!! We check at Siam Discovery (another shopping mall next door) - Grand EGV - As I remember last 2 or 3 year this place is look very luxury. But now the newest and the biggest shopping mall next door (Siam Paragon) is more attractive.
Movie started at 8.30 pm end about 11 pm ------------------ The next day shopping again. hahaha with Pae and A2. I left home 1 hour earlier than I should. So I took a bus, passed Lumpini Park. I remember the night before on the way back home from flower market. I saw a huge ferris wheel in Lumpini Night Baaza. I took a short walk cut throught the park to check it out.
The sign said "The world's biggest transportable Ferris wheel, known as "La Grande Roue de Paris" (The Paris ferris wheel)....The Ferris wheel takes up 25x20,5 meters on the ground, has a height of 60 meters as well as 42 cabins, able to accommodate 6 people each, including a special VIP cabin with leather chairs."
The price for adult is 100 Baht and 60 Baht for children (under 100 cm.) Open 6 pm - midnight. I was there to early the ferris not run yet. I met Pae and A2 at MBK today. Had dinner together...MK Sukiyaki. Hmm Yummy.
Shopping got 2 more shirt 2 for 500 Baht. Almost 8 pm, we went to Lumpini Night Baaza again to take a ferris wheel ride.
