16//07 Went to Wat Pho today....check for Traditional Thai Massage School (I really want to take Traditional Thai Massage then i can give Steffen and everybody I care a real Thai massage hehehe). I took an express boat which is run along Chao-Pra-Ya River - main river through Bangkok. I got on at Tha-Sathon (Sathon pier) and got off at Tha-Tien.
I think it quite fun everytime I took boat trip. Faster than car (if you could imagine how bad traffic in bangkok) and get some fresh breath (not much polution along the river) and of course it CHEAP too. From the trip that i took they charge me for 13 Baht. When you reach Wat-Pho (the word "Wat" mean temple in Thai, so Pho is name of the temple). You will see many statues. Most of statues have chinese design. I really don't know why not Thai design for example you can see from the picture below.
Inside the main church, located HUGE!!! buddha lay down along the church. Gold body, shining by yellow light. I really like the feeling when I heard many tourist came into the church's main door with amaze sound like "wowwwwwwwwwwww" "uuuuuuuuuuuh" with their mouth open. hehehe that make me proud to be Thai. Even I've been there before, it always amazing for me.
Rosie dutton is self massage. You can stretching yourself which those position. More picture of Rosie dutton inside Wat-Pho here and self massage position here (but the details are in Thai only, sorry). About Rosit dutton...there was a big news last month... a Japanese business man cliam that name and open his Thai massage business under that name in Japan.
