02//06 New month...new place...new friends...new (actually first) company.

1st of June, I start a job at Microsoft (Thailand). They offered me a job about the middle of last month, so I took a short vacation before start a job. I went down south - Trang - visited my grandfather, old friends, ex-school and old teachers. Everything is changed. Spent one night there and caught a bus up to Phuket to visit my sister and her husband. The next two days caught another bus to Samui. My dad's friend run a bungalow there. He offered me free accommodation. If my dad doesn't sick he would come with me :) But Samui was not nice like I thought. Too big island I feel like I live in small fancy town more than live in island. Samui have everything now...espacially 3 brand new cinema in Tesco Lotus, Samui. The pictures from this trip will come later since I forgot camara's battery charger at my sister's place :( stupid me.

Come back to my new and interesting job. hehehe interesting at least for me. All my family and my friends are very surprise and happy for me that I got this job. First job and great job I ever got. It's a good start. I am a Software Test Engineer. There are 8 persons in my team. Our team is direct connect to all test team around the world and the main lead is at Redmond, US. We don't have much discuss with other department like the others do. Benafit that all employee in MS got is really good. hehehe Here they provided free access soft drink (milk, soda, juice, water, coffee, tea, cocoa etc.) , some bread for breakfast (also have toaster), ice-cream etc. hehe that's inside office. They offered fitness at Conrad Hotel. It's damn luxury hotel with fancy warm swimming pool and fancy fitness machine. Well...actually they have more. Those are the most attactive that you couldn't find any company in Thailand provided those to their employee.

Last week....Steffen had tests and now he have summer school break for 3 months. Mom Vigdis join a caravan this week. It should be really nice wheater there in Norway now. Summer time begin!!! Love and miss you all.
